Yorkshire and Humber Younger Person's Support Group
The Yorkshire & Humber Younger Person's Support Group is run by a group of volunteers from across the region. We exist to support anyone of working age (under 67) with Parkinson's and their family/friends.
Every year we hold an Information Day and an event to mark World Parkinson's Day. Please see the details for 2025 below.

Social groups
We also encourage and can help with the setting up of informal social groups throughout the region. So far, these run in Hull, Leeds, Rotherham, Sheffield and York. Generally, they meet socially once a month in the evening. They are a casual get together for local younger people with Parkinson's and their family/friends, providing mutual support and a chance to chat with others in a similar situation about anything and everything, not just life with Parkinson's. New members are always welcome.
