Birmingham South Support Group

A very warm welcome to the Birmingham South Support Group.

We aim to provide support to all those living with Parkinson’s south of the city centre which includes all spouses, partners and carers, as well as those who have been diagnosed.

We are friendly, sociable, informing and supportive, organising:

  • Three Parkinson's cafes once a month
  • Monthly meetings, most with a speaker
  • A Carer's Natter once a month
  • A range of subsidised social activities
  • A crafty natter once a month

We keep as active as possible, organising activities shown to help the condition, including:

  • Social Walking groups four times a month
  • Tai Chi classes twice a month
  • Extend exercise classes every other week
  • A singing group twice a month
  • Dance for Parkinson's twice a month
