Yorkshire & Humber Younger Person's Social & Information Day

Following the success of previous years, the volunteer team for the Yorkshire and Humber Younger Person’s Support Group (Y&H YPSG) is organising another annual information and social day for younger people (67 years and under) with Parkinson’s and their guests.

The day will include information from guest speakers followed by a subsidised carvery lunch and an opportunity to meet and chat to other people from around the Yorkshire and Humber region.     

Event details are as follows:

  • Place - Village Hotel Leeds South, Capitol Boulevard West, Tingley, Leeds, LS27 0TS.
  • Date & time - 10am to 4pm on Sunday 19 October 2025. Registration, coffee, tea and pastries from 10am for a 10.30am start.
  • Speaker - the main speaker is Dr Stefan Williams, Consultant Neurologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Will commence at 10.30am. Other sessions will take place during the day, with further details to follow.
  • Lunch - a two course lunch is included in the ticket price
  • Booking - Details to follow.
