Warblers singing group Amersham

Join us for fun and informal singing sessions for people affected by Parkinson's - no singing experience or ability needed!

A typical session will begin with some stretching and vocal exercises and then we move on to songs where we can put into practice the techniques we have been focusing on. We aim to increase breath control and posture and we do all sorts of exercises to get the facial muscles working. Tongue twisters and patter songs are always a fun way to increase articulation and are great for backing up speech therapy. Our members tell us that it is a great way of strengthening the voice too.

We ask for a contribution of £6 per person or £10 per couple towards costs.
