Live Well & Dance with Parkinson’s

Carefully designed to support the health and wellbeing of those living with Parkinson’s, the combination of dance, creativity and socialisation will help build confidence for everyday living.

The supportive, warm and welcoming sessions offer a place to meet others with the opportunity to engage in a fulfilling creative activity. Sessions can be taken seated throughout or seated and standing. They will begin by exploring breath and gentle stretching to find length and space in the body followed by more upbeat sequences using music to support coordination and balance. The sessions are usually led by two instructors.

Participants should wear comfortable loose clothing to aid movement.

The room and toilets are fully accessible for wheelchairs. There are ample parking bays for blue badge holders.
