Dance4Fun!

This activity is lead by an instructor who has direct experience of Parkinson's.

Dancing benefits people with Parkinson’s by improving our balance, strength, flexibility, coordination and spatial awareness. It’s also great fun and we aim to create a friendly and supportive environment!

Dance 4 Fun is for people with Parkinson’s, their partners and carers. For those with limited mobility, dance moves will be done sitting down or holding the back of a chair for support.

Dance sessions are informal and creative. We explore different styles of dance, music and rhythms, all loosely based on dance movements from around the world. Strictly NOT strictly!

We’re not ballroom dancing … so you won’t need a partner. Our dancing is all about individual expression and movement. Men are welcome too … don’t be shy!
