Birmingham South Support Group Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is walking outdoors with poles.

Our Nordic Walking sessions are always led by an experienced instructor. Sessions are well suited to a range of abilities from beginners to the more experienced. The focus is on mobility, balance, strength and stamina.

  • Non-slip shoes are essential together with appropriate outdoor wear.
  • Toilets and café are available at Rowheath Pavilion.
  • All carers, friends and partners are positively encouraged to
    participate.
  • £3 per person.
  • Sarah advises on weather conditions via our WhatsApp group.

Sarah carefully advises all beginners one to one what to expect, including an appraisal of your ability to safely participate in this outdoor activity. Please note: All beginners please contact Sarah first using the contact details below.

All regular participants are encouraged to purchase a set of poles and gloves, and these are available from Sarah.
