Local group meetings are regular get-togethers where you’ll be able to meet local people with Parkinson's, their families, friends and carers. Here you’ll find mutual support where you can chat, socialise and relax - often over a cup of tea. Meetings will vary, but there are often a host of useful activities planned, ranging from speakers to activity classes.

More about our group

Our branch has over 600 members. They are mainly people who have Parkinson's, but our membership also includes carers, families, and friends. We keep in touch by post, email, and our website: Members can take part in numerous activities, from exercise, choir and speech therapy classes, to outings, fundraising events, meetings and social gatherings. To become a member, please complete the online form on the branch membership page of our website.

We provide expert advice from specialist advisers and nurses. And we also have a group for Working Age members. Details of groups, meetings, gatherings and events also appear in "The Park", our free quarterly newsletter. Go to the recent news page on our website to download recent issues or to subscribe to the email version.
