Birmingham South Support Group

We aim to provide support to all those living with Parkinson’s which includes all spouses, partners and carers, as well as those who have been diagnosed.

We organise a range of regular activities, which you can find more information about at the bottom of this page. Throughout the year, we also usually organise:

  • A group trip to Birmingham Hippodrome panto in early January.
  • A subsidised three course meal in early May.
  • An annual Fundraising Quiz Night at Kings Heath Cricket Club in early August.
  • A subsidised Christmas Meal at Kings Heath Cricket Club in early December.
  • A weekend away at Warners Studley Castle Hotel in June.

Membership of the group is FREE to join, and we ask you to make a contribution, usually £3, to most activities on the door.

Our fundraising events include our annual quiz night and monthly Crafty Natters, and we aim to hold a variety of events to appeal to the wider public outside the group.

The group is run by a committee of volunteers, who meet once a month.
