Williton & Surrounds Parkinson's Support (WASPS)

WASPS is a social group that welcomes people with Parkinson's, their family and carers.

We commence with a 30 minute exercise session, run by a person from Age UK. Exercises are primarily seated, with movements to music included. This is followed by any notices, then a speaker or entertainment for 45 mins.

Followed by tea and biscuits, during which members have a chance to chat and socialise.

There is an annual cream tea, and a Christmas lunch, which have to be booked in advance. Otherwise no booking is required, just turn up.

The meeting is led by one of the Committee.

The hall has a car park opposite, there is a ramp to the front door, and an accessible toilet.

£25 yearly subscription, which covers hall hire, speakers, annual cream tea, and part of Christmas lunch.

No meeting in August or December

Meetings take place on the first Thursday in the month.
