Well Balanced - Exercise class for adults with neurological conditions

This class is designed for people with neurological conditions, especially Parkinson's, and for people recovering from a stroke. Well Balanced is also suitable for people with a history of falls, who are keen to be more active with a strong focus on improving balance.

Classes are led by Jane Hobden, qualified fitness instructor with special interest in Parkinson’s and her volunteer, Rebecca Mackay, and occasionally by osteopathic students from the European School of Osteopathy. Sessions comprise, cardio-vascular, strength, balance and flexibility elements using equipment and music as appropriate.

The exercises are followed by 30 minutes drink and chat.

Each session costs £5 to attend. Trial session for free.
