Wallsend Boys Club - activities for all
Wallsend Boys Club provide a range of sports and physical activity opportunities for the Parkinson's community, both men and women, at their centre in Wallsend.
Please note that these activities are not exclusively for people living with Parkinson's, but the instructors have an understanding of the condition and are keen to welcome more of the community.
Sessions include:
- social walking football (outdoors on a purpose-built pitch)
- tai chi
- walking cricket
- 'Get Active' sessions where you do different exercises led by an instructor and play sports such as table tennis.
All sessions are open to anyone over 50 and to anyone living with Parkinson's of any age.
Cost: £5 per session
For more information about the different sessions or to discuss which might be right for you, contact Martyn at Wallsend Boys Club on [email protected], 0191 2639490.
