Walking Football, Edinburgh

These sessions are designed specifically to help participants manage physical symptoms. They also aim to improve physical, mental and social well being. Sessions aim to work on mobility, balance and strength through football related activity.

These sessions are designed for any ability, and if appropriate, we can look to run a more high intensity session and lower intensity session.

Partners/Carers are more than welcome to spectate (however this space may be limited due to the venue, spectating will be possible from outside of the pitch looking through the goals). However parents/carers are invited to join us for teas/coffees after the session.

  • 11am to 12 noon - Pitch activity
  • 12 noon to 1pm - Teas/coffees and socialising

Please ensure that you have water with you and any medication you will need during this time. Please ensure that trainers and suitable clothing are worn. All staff have gone through Parkinson's Physical Exercise and Activity training and are committed to helping individuals get the best out of themselves. There may be a slight step on the way into the astro pitch, however this will be highlighted at the sessions.
