Tulip (Carers Group)
This group is for people who are sharing a life with somebody who has Parkinson's. We talk about our challenges, share strategies that have worked for us and information that might be useful.
We are not medically qualified and no discussions about therapies and drugs can be thought of as more than just personal opinion.
No politics and religion. This doesn't mean we can't have a laugh as well.
We enjoy a ‘Coffee shop” atmosphere here.
Carers will meet in one part of the pub and people with Parkinson's in another area of the same pub, looked after by our wonderful volunteers.
Tea and coffee is provided, attendees will purchase their own lunch from the bar if they wish.
The meeting starts at 10.30am/11am until approximately midday (with the option to stay for lunch and continue chatting).
