Thornes Park Walking Group (Wednesday)
Gentle, accessible walks run by volunteers from the Wakefield Support Group.
Walking is a great way to stay active when you are living with Parkinson’s, and our friendly groups are open to anyone affected by the condition. Carers, family members and friends of people living with Parkinson’s are also welcome to join us.
We meet in the car park near the cafe at 10:30. Accessible parking is available on site.
After our walk we usually head back to the Cafe for a chat. There is no cost to this activity other than what you would like to spend on refreshments.
This is a weekly activity, and booking is not required. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please note that we do not meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month, as this is when we hold our main group meeting at Wrenthorpe Village Hall.
