Tai Chi

An exercise class that promotes flexibility and strength. Tai Chi can help with balance, mental wellbeing and is a very doable form of exercise.  You can sit or stand depending on your balance.  As long as you can walk the session is accessible to you.

  • These sessions are for anyone with a diagnosis of Parkinson's.
  • Carers, family or friends can attend but only one person session (due to space limitations).
  • The session is led by a volunteer who has been doing Tai Chi for 3 years and is classed as a third party activity
  • We ask participants to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, so no need for sports wear, bring a water bottle so you can have a drink when you feel you need one.
  • No booking required.
  • Cost is £5 per session.

We have tea and coffee at the end of the session which gives people an opportunity to socialise.
