Tai Chi

An exercise class that promotes flexibility and strength. Tai Chi can help with balance, mental wellbeing and is a very doable form of exercise. We have tea and coffee at the end of the session which gives people an opportunity to socialise.

  • These sessions are for anyone with a diagnosis of Parkinson's.
  • Carers, family or friends can attend but only one person session (due to space limitations).
  • The session is led by Mark Leonard, a qualified Tai Chi instructor and there are always 2 volunteers in attendance.
  • We ask participants to wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
  • No booking required.
  • Cost is £4 per session.

People with Parkinson's or their carer can contact Lynda Kirkwood via email or phone for information about attending, or just turn up on the day.
