Table Tennis
Table tennis is not only aerobic, but requires fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, balance and stimulates various parts of the brain.
Ours is a supportive community dedicated to empowering individuals living with Parkinson's through the joy and physical benefits of table tennis. This group provides a welcoming, safe environment where members can engage in regular table tennis sessions tailored to accommodate their needs and abilities. The focus is on improving motor skills, balance, and coordination, while also fostering social connections and emotional well-being. Whether you're a beginner or have experience with table tennis, this group invites all skill levels to join, share experiences, and enjoy the camaraderie and positive energy that comes with playing together.
There is no instructor and no need to book. Just turn up and play as much or as little as you want to. Carers welcome to join in. Seating provided for non players. Wear comfortable clothing and non slip footwear.
