Student Led Parkinson's Class at University of Bradford

The classes are approx 50 minutes long and are tailored to the individual needs of those attending.

The classes are a mixture of seated and standing exercises (where able). The physiotherapy students are on placement in the clinic and they lead the classes with supervision from a HCPC registered physiotherapist.

The classes focus on exercises to target specific Parkinson's needs. All individuals receive a full 1:1 assessment before joining the class and the students will add exercises based on individuals goals and needs.

The classes cater for mixed ability levels. You would need to be able to at least sit in a chair for 1 hour. If you need a more supported chair then we would ask you to bring this to the class. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss suitability.

Partners/carers are welcome to join us. The gym is relatively small so they are invited to join the exercises where possible but sometimes there is not space.

Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes and non slip shoes.

The sessions are free of charge to attend.
