Stronger With Parkinson's
Stronger with Parkinson’s is a specialised gym-based circuit programme using our brand-new 12-station eGym
at Stapleford Community Pavilion.
This strength-focused circuit includes equipment such as the leg press, chest press, rotary torso, leg extension, leg curl, shoulder press, lat pulldown and seated row. Each machine can be fully tailored to suit your height, ability, and strength.
The programme is designed to support everyday movements—such as walking, pushing and pulling—while helping
to improve balance, posture, and overall mobility. Participants also benefit from mood-boosting endorphins and the
opportunity to socialise, which can help reduce feelings associated with mental health conditions and improve day-
to-day quality of life.
Sessions are led by Sarah, a specialist Exercise Referral Instructor who has completed the Parkinson’s and Physical
Activity and Exercise course. She will provide tailored guidance and support throughout the class.
Refreshments will also be available for carers and spouses, offering a welcoming space to meet others and build a supportive
network.
