Steel City Tremorloes Singing Group

We meet weekly on Friday at St. Mary's Church & Conference Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield S2 4QZ from 1:30pm - 2:30pm for a voice class which helps to improve communication, lung capacity and breathing through vocal exercise and singing.

In recent years, many reports have highlighted the huge benefits of singing for health and wellbeing. It can help with intonation and volume of speech, has been shown to improve cognitive function, and also has a marked impact on confidence and mood.

The group sings songs in a range of styles, led by Sally Blyth, a fully qualified teacher who studied at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp. She has extensive experience teaching singing in community settings and is keen to welcome new members.

The classes are provided free of charge. If a participant wishes to donate money for the ongoing running of classes, we suggest a monthly donation of £10.00.
