Souter Lighthouse Health Walk
Come and meet at the Lighthouse Cafe. Short to medium-distance, weekly guided coastal walk for anyone with Parkinson's or another long-term health condition, plus their friends and family.
Perfect for people who are new to walking for exercise and pleasure, or anyone who likes a social stroll.
Led by National Trust walk leaders, who have received awareness training to understand Parkinson's.
We take it at a pace to suit everyone, enjoying the views, spotting wildlife and sharing stories of the coast's rich heritage along the way.
The walk takes place at 2pm every Tuesday. Free to attend. Meet at 2pm at the Coastal Centre which is right next to the car park at Souter - there are toilet facilities there and somewhere inside to wait. The group also returns there for refreshments after the walk at approximately 3pm.
