Singing Class

A class run by the fun and experienced “Singing Sisters” based purely around fun and enjoyment.  None of us are singers, we’re just a group who like to exercise our voices to help fight Parkinson’s whilst having great fun in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

The words are shown on a screen and everyone is welcome to this free class.  No talent is needed, just an appetite for fun and it’s advisable to bring a drink along with you.  We sing a very wide range of popular songs from the 50s to the modern day that are usually instantly recognisable and we have a short music related/topical quiz to break the singing and keep the grey cells ticking over.

The once-a-month hour-long session is on the first Friday of the month, at 1230 in the Beacon Room at St Mary’s Church Ferndown.  Numbers are limited to about 25 on this popular class, so ring ahead to check if there’s space.
