Shrewsbury Group Meeting
Parkinson’s UK Shrewsbury branch welcomes anyone affected by Parkinson’s to their monthly socials, offering mutual support where you can socialise and relax, with a cup of tea or slice of cake.
The Beaconsfield Club is central, easy to access by car (there is parking) or public transport (directly opposite the bus station) – and is a very comfortable place to meet and chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.
We regularly listen to what you’d like your group to do and hopefully provide just that. Let us know if you have any ideas! We have a list of interesting speakers who inform, prompt questions about Parkinson’s or just entertain! Look out for our monthly newsletter which publishes details of forthcoming events. Please feel free to invite your friends, family and carers. The Beaconsfield Club has wheelchair access and facilities.
The branch has a team of friendly volunteers but we’re always grateful for others who’d like to help out. We also fundraise to help run local activities, contribute towards research, Parkinson’s nurses and other services. Please get in touch if you’d like to help.
