Sheffield Support Group social meeting

We welcome people with Parkinson's, family, friends and carers to join us at our friendly social meeting from 2pm - 3:30 pm at Tapton Masonic Hall, Shore Lane, Sheffield S10 3BU.

We usually arrange a speaker followed by time for people to chat over refreshments.

The next meeting is on:

Tuesday 5th November - Dr Mahjabin Islam will talk about her research project looking into particular hormones, normally released by the gut after eating, that protect nerve cells from degeneration. If there is a difference in people with Parkinson’s, the findings could inform the development of new treatments.

We are hoping to have a second speaker from the Therapist team.
