S.G Boxing sessions for Parkinson's in Jersey

Fun boxing to improve balance, mobility and movement. Open to all but with a Parkinson's focus. It is a standing activity, but movements can be adapted to suit individual needs. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability or experience.

The session is led by Shane Goggin, a fully qualified England Boxing Coach and an England Boxing-qualified Parkinson’s Coach. Shane has extensive experience delivering safe, supportive, and engaging sessions for people of all backgrounds.

Just wear comfortable sports clothing and bring a bottle of water. No equipment is needed, boxing gloves are provided.

Free to attend and no need to book, please just turn up and join in. Friends, family and carers are welcome to join in or come along for support. The atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive.

There’s time to chat before and after the session, with a friendly and supportive group. It’s a great chance to connect and build community.

Boxing-based movement can help with:

  • Improved balance, strength, and coordination
  • Boosted mood and confidence
  • Sharper focus and mental agility
  • A sense of routine, energy, and empowerment
