Research and Information Event - Yorkshire & Humber Region

We are inviting people affected by Parkinson's, researchers and health care professionals to join us at this free event on: Friday 3 October, at the National Coal Mining Museum, New Road, Overton, Wakefield, WF4 4RH. Registration from 10.30am for an 11am start and 3.15pm finish.

The event will include speakers and presentations covering:

  • Parkinson's UK's current research programme and what's on the horizon.
  • Yorkshire and Humber research initiatives.
  • How to get involved in research locally and nationally.

The event will also discuss re-establishing a Yorkshire and Humber Parkinson’s Research Interest Group.

Speakers include:

  • Professor David Dexter, Director of Research at Parkinson's UK
  • Professor Heather Mortiboys, University of Sheffield
  • And more to be announced!

Lunch and refreshments are provided.
