Rare Dementia Support Group

Rare Dementia Support (RDS) is pleased to announce the formation of the Northeast network hub for people diagnosed with rare dementias and their family, friends and carers.
 

The support group meeting is for anyone affected by 

  • Lewy body dementia (LBD)
  • frontotemporal dementia (FTD & familial FTD),
  • primary progressive aphasia (PPA),
  • posterior cortical atrophy (PCA),
  • young onset or familial Alzheimer’s disease (YOAD or FAD).
        

A relaxed, friendly group to share ideas and advice in a supportive environment.

Time: 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Dates: Second Monday of month (13 Oct 2025; 10 Nov 2025; 08 Dec 2025)

Place: House on the Hill, Age UK, Sunderland Road, Felling, Gateshead.  Between Felling Metro Station and Heworth Transport Interchange.

Served by #27, 51, 58X/58, 833/834 bus routes. Free parking opposite
