Project Parkinson's, Hamilton

Project Parkinsons is a 1-hour exercise session specifically designed for people living with Parkinson’s. These group sessions are overseen by the award winning MorphFit. Instructor Gayle is a Level- 4 Certified Personal Trainer who has taken on additional courses on delivering exercises to people with acknowledged health conditions, including Parkinson’s.

These fun and friendly sessions feature BIG adaptable movements and will ensure accessibility for all. Gayle encourages service users to push themselves, progressively and slowly building upon frequency and intensity. There will be a key focus on balance, strength, posture & body awareness. To support cognition Gayle will use repetition reenforced with rhythm and music. Partners or carers are welcome to join in on the sessions.
