Power Through Parkinson's

Rovers Revive is an inclusive physical activity programme designed specifically for individuals living with Parkinson’s.

Hosted at the home of Featherstone Rovers RLFC, this initiative provides a welcoming environment where participants can engage in accessible, fun, and engaging rugby-themed sessions aimed at improving mobility, coordination, and overall well-being.

Weekly Physical Activity Sessions – Tailored to the needs of participants, these sessions focus on balance, strength, flexibility, and coordination, all of which are known to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms.

Using rugby-inspired exercises, drills, and adapted movements, participants will enjoy an engaging, team-based workout that caters to all ability levels.

Social Opportunities & Refreshments – Following each session, participants are invited to The Foundry, Featherstone Rovers’ community anchor, to relax, connect, and share experiences over refreshments. This helps combat isolation and fosters a strong support network.

Led by Trained Coaches – Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches trained in working with individuals with long-term health conditions, ensuring a safe, supportive, and effective programme.
