Parky Blinders (Non-Contact Boxing)

A new non-contact boxing class will start in West London on Thursday 5 November, 5pm to 6pm at Charing Cross Sports Club, Aspenlea Road, London, W6 8LH.

The class is run by experienced coaches qualified by Boxing England and Parkinson’s UK to deliver classes for people with Parkinson’s.

Non-contact boxing improves motor skills (balance, gait, coordination, agility, and reaction time), supports mental and emotional health by reducing anxiety and depression, and supports self-confidence, mood, and mental sharpness. The class is taught in a supportive, fun, and social environment. Care partners are encouraged to participate.

The exercises are adapted for all mobility levels. You will need to manage a few steps with railings to get to the sports court. There is no need to have prior experience in boxing to participate.

Sessions are free.

IMPORTANT: You will need to have indoor court shoes with a white non-marking sole to enter the sports court.

Registration is required. Please get in touch to request the registration form.
