Kew Park Rangers FC Parkinson’s Walking Football

In partnership with Roehampton University, Surrey FA, The FA and Richmond Council (RISE), KPR Parkinson’s Walking Football offers a welcoming walking-based activity session specially adapted for people living with Parkinson’s.

At KPR Parkinson’s Walking Football, sessions centre on walking and gentle movement, designed to help you move more confidently and comfortably at your own pace.

Monday morning sessions focus on:

  • Encouraging steady walking and movement
  • Improving balance, coordination and flexibility
  • Building confidence in everyday movement
  • Creating a friendly, social space to connect with others

All coaches are UEFA or FA qualified, DBS checked, and certified in Safeguarding and First Aid, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone.

At KPR Parkinson’s Walking Football, there is a place for you whether you are experienced or trying it for the very first time. No pressure, no judgement, just a warm welcome.

  • Partners and carers are welcome to come along.
  • Please wear appropriate clothing, non-slip shoes and bring a water bottle.
  • No need to book - just turn up, but it is helpful if you can let us know you are coming if it is your first time.
