Parkinson's Walking Football, Dundee

No football experience is necessary to take part. Parkinson's Walking Football is ideal for anyone with a new diagnosis or with mild or progressing Parkinson symptoms who are able to walk independently. Walking football sessions will target cardiovascular fitness using high intensity bursts of activity (via walking/jogging) as well as flexibility, balance, movement and coordination. As well as this each session will help develop a regular exercise or physical activity regime while also being with like-minded individuals harnessing comradery and peer support.

Each session will last for up to 60 minutes including time for short breaks and coaches will ensure the session is geared at a pace that is suitable for all participants attending the day.  Please wear comfortable clothing, suitable footwear, and bring a bottle of water.  Free for the first 6 weeks.

For 30 mins at the end of each session there will be tea and coffee available for refreshment and an opportunity to socialise with like-minded individuals and build a great positive community.
