Parkinson's Walking Football

As the name suggests, Walking Football is played at a slower pace on small-sided pitches. The risk of injury and accidents is reduced by not playing the ball above head height, playing no contact rules, and by reducing the impact by walking.

Our sessions are for people diagnosed with Parkinson's and looking to keep active among others in the Parkinson's community. The sessions are mixed gender.

No prior football experience is necessary to take part, with sessions led by FA qualified HTF staff, who have also undertaken extra training in delivering football and physical activity sessions to those living with Parkinson's.

Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving around in, and bring a bottle of water. Participants are required to complete a registration form before their first session.
