Parkinson’s Move & Shout

It provides targeted physical activity sessions with the goal of improving participants' quality of life, enhancing motor skills, and fostering a supportive community.
Classes include seated exercise, boxercise, group cycling, circuits and gym based sessions.
Our programme
At the first session participants will be given the option to access our Exercise Referral Programme. This provides 4 x 1-1 sessions over a 12-week period with an instructor who will develop a bespoke training programme to improve your mobility, strength and balance to support PD symptoms.
During the programme, participants will also be asked to take part in a short activity to measure their mobility. This will also be completed in week 12 to measure progress.
Carers are welcome to attend within their caring capacity free of charge, or as a participant (£4.50 per session). There is a café downstairs and seating areas within Wokingham Leisure Centre where carers are welcome to relax.
