Parkinson's Hub (Exercise and Wellness Sessions)
This friendly group offers exercises for people of any age with Parkinson’s and their partner or carer.
The sessions consist of cardio pattern exercises designed to keep your mind and body working together.
- Resistance bands and dumbbells, gentle yoga, and movements are also used to improve strength, balance, and breathing techniques.
- Brain gym exercises are included to develop hand-eye coordination and encourage both sides of the brain to work together.
- Participants can also use the outside gym for a more challenging workout.
There are quizzes and games and most of this group is an opportunity to socialise over a cuppa. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
