Parkinson's exercise group
These sessions will be delivered by Phil who has over 12 years of experience as a fitness instructor and qualifications including Exercise to Music, Pilates (Level 3), Les Mills Body Combat and Thrive, and a Diploma in Specialist Exercise (Level 4).
Phil is also living with Parkinson's himself and since his diagnosis, maintaining an active lifestyle and positive mindset has played a significant role in managing his condition.
This class is aimed improving your balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. It will include a warm up and cool down, a range of exercises and some use of light weights. Seated options will be available where needed. Carers/partners are welcome to attend too.
Sessions are free to YMCA members, suggested donation of £5 for non members.
