Parkinson's Exercise Class

The hour-long session includes elements of Tai-Chi, Pilates-based core and back strengthening exercises, balance exercises, and resistance band upper body strengthening exercises.

You can do the exercises seated, standing with a chair for balance, or standing unaided. The sequence is modified every month to keep it fresh, and each session ends with a short period of relaxation.

Please wear non-slip shoes and bring a fleece or jumper. You might want to bring a water bottle. If you take medication around this time, please don’t forget to bring them.

You do not need to wear a facial covering while exercising, but for now we’d prefer it if you did so while moving around the building.

Currently we don't invite carers and partners to stay, but they may come into the room to deliver and collect.

Maximum 14 allows for 2 metre social distancing – please contact Ali if you are new or haven’t been for a while. Booking is not currently required but as the class grows we may have to manage numbers.
