ParkinSOLO Launch Event

Our ParkinSOLO is a Launch Event, aimed at people with Parkinson's who live on their own, who want to meet others in the same situation and who want to be active together. The focus of the activity is a walk along the Strawberry Line in Yatton.  

We are meeting at 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Strawberry Line Cafe, at Yatton Railway Station. We will start our walk from the Cafe, which will involve a flat walk along the Strawberry Line.

Afterwards there will be the opportunity to stay for refreshments in the cafe. The event is free and welcomes people from across Somerset who would like to keep active in the company of other people with Parkinson's who live on their own.

The aim is for the event to be a friendly and relaxing opportunity to meet new people, with the opportunity to arrange similar events/meet ups in the future.

Please wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear that you are comfortable walking in, and bring some water, hat and sun cream.
