ParkinSolo Cycle Ride

Our ParkinSolo is hosting its next  event with a Cycle ride along the Strawberry Line.

The cycle ride is aimed at people with Parkinson's who live on their own, who want to meet others in the same situation and who want to be active together. The focus of the activity is a cycle ride along the Strawberry Line in Yatton, following the successful walk we did in September.

We have two event dates for the cycle ride:

Monday 10 November meet at 10am for a set off time of 10:30am

Wednesday 19 November  meet at 12:30pm for a set off time of 1pm

We are meeting at the Strawberry Line Cafe, at Yatton Railway Station. 

The centre has adaptive cycles for participants to use, and we are aiming to be out cycle for about an hour

Afterwards there will be the opportunity to stay for refreshments in the cafe. 

The aim is for the event to be a friendly and relaxing opportunity to meet new people, with the opportunity to arrange similar events/meet ups in the future.

Please wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear that you are comfortable cycling in, and bring some water, and waterproofs if it looks like it will be wet.
