Online Parkinson's Exercise Group

The online Parkinson's exercise group is a 45 minute moderate intensity exercise class, run by a qualified Neuro Physiotherapist

It is aimed at people who would like to maintain and improve their strength, balance, flexibility and endurance. The main part of the class is in a standing position although frequent rest breaks are included.

The physiotherapist will carry out a one to one session before you start the group to check that you like the type of exercise offered and that you are able to complete the simple core exercises safely.

You must be medically fit to participate in the activity.

The group is an online group via zoom. So you need to be able to use this system. The physiotherapist can assist you with this if required.

You will need to have a space to carry out the exercises, wear loose clothing and wear either trainers or bare feet. Please also make sure you have water and a theraband to hand.

Partners and carers are welcome to join in the group.

The cost is £5 per session for the monthly option. Booking is essential. Please get in touch with Caroline for more information.
