Nordic Walking for People Living with Parkinson's

People living with Parkinson’s from across Burton-upon-Trent and the surrounding areas are being encouraged to try a free Nordic walking class and live well in winter.

No previous experience of Nordic walking is required and participants are welcome to bring their relatives, carers or loved ones to join in, plus there’s a chance to socialise with a coffee and chat after the walk.

The sessions are delivered by a qualified Nordic walking instructor and take place at a new location each week. All walks are located at venues with accessible parking and toilets. Nordic walking poles are provided and every walk can be tailored to the needs of the individual, with all ages and abilities welcome to join in.
