Neuro Heroes PD Circuits
PD Circuits is a high intensity, Parkinson's specific, online circuit training session that promises to build your fitness, strength, coordination, balance and endurance.
Led by a neuro physiotherapist, PD Circuits is designed for individuals with Parkinson’s that are able to exercise for 45 minutes in standing. Each week a variety of exercises will be completed with short breaks in between, to keep different areas of the body working and challenged.
You’ll never see 50, or even 20 Zoom faces on your screen during any Neuro Heroes class. Groups are kept small enough for the class physio to keep an eye on everyone, offer individualised feedback and make exercises easier or harder based on how participants are doing. You can take each class at your own pace, and if you have an injury or your symptoms change, you simply let us know and we can adapt things for you on the day.
A key element of the Neuro Heroes approach is the community we have built. You will not only benefit from our support but also that of like minded individuals who attend our small group sessions.
With our live online classes, you get the same benefits as face-to-face classes, but with the added advantage that you can access our expertise from anywhere. Plus, there's no need to factor in travel time. Simply have a chair, water and some light weights to hand. This can be two tins from the kitchen, books or light hand weights if you have them. And you are all set to improve your symptoms.
Participants are required to complete an online assessment form before their first class to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate session.
First class free! Pricing starts from £10 per class, depending upon the membership level. Alternatively, our pay-as-you-go fee is £15 per class. We also offer free and heavily subsidised places in our classes to people who meet certain criteria.
