Nature, Running & Parkinson’s Group at Longshaw Estate
A weekly running group that provides you with information around nature, connection, conservation and running/walking. In addition, you'll be provided some simple advice on how running can enable you to keep active whilst living with Parkinson’s.
The group is delivered by an England Athletics trained leader and based on a specially designed Couch to 5k programme. You do this your way and at your pace - this can be walking, jogging or running. It's all about getting moving and meeting new people.
These sessions are to build your cardiovascular health and make new friends.
- Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate footwear for running.
- Partners and carers are welcome to join in the sessions.
- The cafe is open for after the session for the group to have refreshments if they wish.
- Booking is essential.
