Nature, running & Parkinson’s group at Longshaw Estate
- This is a new running group that each week provides you with information around nature connection and conservation and running/walking. In addition to providing some simple advice on how running can enable you to keep active whilst living with Parkinson’s. Delivered by an England Athletics trained leader and based on a specially designed Couch to 5k programme. You do this your way and at your pace this can be walking, jogging or running. It is all about getting moving and meeting new people.
- These sessions are to build your cardiovascular health and make new friends.
- Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate footwear for running
- Partners and carers are welcome to join in the sessions
- The cafe is open for after the session for the group to have refreshments if they wish.
