Museum Encounter - Dance for Parkinson's

Free six week dance course inspired by artefacts from the University of Cambridge Museums. For people affected by Parkinson's. Led by dance for health artist Filipa Pereira-Stubbs.

Sessions start with an exploration of museum objects. The stories of these objects inspire the dance session. We end with refreshments and a chance to look again at the objects. The dance is both chair-based and standing, and we invite participants to work at the level that suits them best.

Companions are very welcome.

Six week courses. The next course starts on Friday 6 February 2026, and takes place on selected Fridays from 10.30am to 12 noon: 13 February, 20 February, 6 March, 13 March and 20 March.
