Museum Encounter - Dance for Parkinson's
Free six week dance course inspired by objects and stories from the University of Cambridge Museums. For people affected by Parkinson's. Led by dance for health artist Filipa Pereira-Stubbs.
Sessions start with an exploration of museum objects. The stories of these objects inspire the dance session. We end with refreshments and a chance to look again at the objects. The dance is both chair-based and standing, and we invite participants to work at the level that suits them best.
Companions are very welcome.
Six week courses. The next course starts on Friday 1 May 2026, and takes place on selected Fridays from 10.30am to 12 noon: 1 May, 15 May, 12 June, 26 June, 10 July and 24 July.
