Much Wenlock Male Voice Choir Charity Concert

The Much Wenlock Male Voice Choir is a well-established, community-focused singing group based in Shropshire that focuses on "singing for pleasure". They are a non-competitive, registered charity group known for their warm camaraderie and high-quality performances.

Musical Style and Repertoire

The choir performs an extensive and diverse selection of music rather than sticking to just one genre. Their performances typically feature an eclectic mix of traditional choral music, popular ballads, show tunes, and contemporary arrangements. They rehearse weekly on Tuesdays at William Brookes School in Much Wenlock to prepare for public and charitable events.

Focus on Charity and Community

A primary purpose of the choir is to use their musical talents to support local communities. They perform frequently across Shropshire and its surrounding areas, regularly partnering with local organisers to raise vital funds for various charitable causes. This event is in aid of Church Stretton Parkinson's Group.
