Move for Your Mind, Livingston

'Move for your Mind' is a FREE gentle creative movement project for adults and older people who may have Parkinson's, Dementia or Alzheimer's. This group is led by two professional dance artists and involves refreshments, relaxation and social time.

Weekly from Wed 22 April 10am-11.30am running weekly at Forst Bank Community Centre, 6 Forestbank, Ladywell, Livingston

This specially developed movement and dance class helps with managing daily living with Parkinson’s. Participation can enhance fluidity of movement, develop postural stability, flexibility of the spine and improve balance. Seated options are always available and the class is open to all abilities. Partners/carers are most welcome and encouraged to join in too. 

It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing/footwear that is easy to move in.
