Move Big and Bold

This class is a mainly chair-based class with some standing options. The exercises are designed for people living with Parkinson’s to help improve, strength, balance, co-ordination and confidence.

We use a range of props including resistance bands, poles and balls to encourage big movements and provide additional challenge.

The session is taught by an experienced exercise instructor. Please contact the instructor to register your interest. The group is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.

Carer support may be advised during the session to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Newcomers are encouraged to observe a session to see if it meets their needs. There will also be the opportunity to speak to the instructor and complete a basic registration form.

The session takes place in a spacious hall. There are steps at the front of the building and access to a lift from the back of the building.

There is a free car park by the side of the building and good public transport links. There is a café in the community centre.

The cost is £5.00 per session, please contact the provider ahead of your first session.
