Malton Dancing with Parkinson's

‘Dance appears to be very helpful in improving gait and balance. It also can provide social stimulation and support, which can be helpful in reducing depression and improving quality of life. Plus, dance stimulates cognitive functioning, an area that people living with Parkinson's often struggle with’
Angela Kirkham-Raine, Dance Teacher for Dancing With Parkinsons

Classes meet on Tuesdays (during term time) at Kirkham Henry Performing Arts and Community Hub, and are adapted to the needs of participants. People may sit or stand according to their requirements.

Please wear loose-fitting clothing that you are comfortable moving around in.
