Introduction to Nordic Walking in Avery Hill Park

Come along to this taster / introduction to Nordic Walking session for our Parkinson's community in Avery Hill Park, a Green Flag award winning park in Greenwich.

The session takes place on the 12 September at 11.30am. Bring along a friend, family member or carer to share the fun.

An instructor led session with activator poles provided, meeting at the cafe, Avery Hill Park, Bexley Road, SE9 2PQ. A free Transport For London bag and water bottle is available for all participants.

Nordic walking can help with the symptoms of Parkinson's, with specially designed poles helping with the forward movement, and helping you to use arms as well as legs. The poles will be provided and instruction given.
