Golf Afternoon

Come join us for a golfing afternoon

What: The Sheffield Support Group have been given the opportunity by the Wortley Golf Club to host an afternoon for 12 people affected by Parkinson’s who play golf. The Club are providing buggies, and if you cannot finish the 18-hole course, you have the option to return to the Club House early.

Should you require/need assistance to be able to play, you are welcome to have someone to support you. However, it is the player's responsibility to make this arrangement. Please let us know when you register if you are having support as we will need to know numbers for the refreshments afterwards.

All you need to bring are your golfing gear of shoes, clubs and appropriate clothing for the weather!

When and what time: Wednesday 22 July 2026 meeting at the Club House at 12.30pm for a ‘Hello’ and chance to change into your proper attire! There will be warm-up exercises before heading out for the first tee off at 1.30pm. The subsequent 2 tee offs are
at 8-minute intervals after this.

You will be welcome to stay for a light sandwich tea after everyone has returned by 5.30pm.
